We ask applicants not to go to our offices or call us if they have an enquiry other than about their current application. This includes people applying from overseas who think that their visa has expired. We advise you not to travel to Australia unless your visa is currently valid with a date/entry requirement that allows you to enter Australia, even though immigration processing continues remotely at this time. You should also check directly with Department of Home Affairs if you require confirmation of any details contained here. The information above applies only to Australian citizenship candidates. All other citizenship programs remain suspended until further notice. More information regarding eligibility criteria, processing times and how to apply is available on our Citizenship Program web page which contains important updates. It is always best to wait until after your interview before booking flights to Australia. When you receive notification of your appointment,we will update your passport to show the new arrival date which will override any previous dates shown on your current passport.
