申请英国t2签证需要多少费用？
Tier 2 General and Tier 2 Sportsperson visas are both £708. The sports person category is for anyone playing at a high international level， so in theory it could be quite broad e.g. cricketers not selected by the England team or footballers not picked up by an EPL club might still qualify. But this would need to be evidenced on application， which can require supporting information from clubs etc. If you’re applying as a general skilled worker then it needs to be at ‘qualifying‘ salary level (currently £30，000). It will also depend what your employer needs to do with regard to their HR processes – some employers provide all the processing services while others only submit the visa/employment documents but leave the actual application to the employee， in that case they may ask if the applicant wants them to handle everything including fees！
In either scenario please bear in mind that there will always be additional costs incurred beyond these basic visa fees such as：
· Translations of documentation where necessary， probably best left to the applicant as most employers won’t know how to go about doing translations themselves
· Travel tickets home if required before the end of tenure of this visa（although Tier 2 migrants CAN apply under certain circumstances for an extension）
· Medicals / police checks depending on country of birth/residence
As I mentioned above， once you have applied online and received confirmation that you have been allocated a visa number， you must arrange for your supporting documents and visa fee payment to be sent directly to the UK Visa & Immigration department within 15 days. As soon as they receive those， they should issue your visa and start work on its dispatch via post to your nominated address. In my experience this takes between two weeks and six weeks depending on volume of applications being processed that day／week and any issues encountered during security checks of documents.
